For the uninitiated, Spongebob Squarepants is the hyperactive, happy-go-lucky “sea sponge” who resides with his best buddy Patrick Star, Gary- his pet snail, Sandy Cheeks- the underwater squirrell, his crotchety co-worker Squidward Tentacles, greedy boss Mr. Crabs, and Mr. Crabs’ arch-enemy Plankton in the under-sea city of Bikini-Bottom.

The first episode of Spongebob Squarepants aired in May of 1999 and continues to this day. Along the way there have been quite a few spongebob songs that have been created for those episodes and the The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, a film adaption of the animated series released on November 19, 2004.
